OSDP Now Available via Remote Firmware Upgrade for acre Smart Controller

This notice serves as a follow-up to Product Lifecycle Notice 2025-PR-A-66-EX, issued in February 2025. We are pleased to announce that OSDP functionality is now officially available for the acre Smart Controller via a remote firmware upgrade.

What’s New:

• Firmware version 2.1.1 adds support for OSDP v2 on all acre Smart Controllers, including both Basic (unencrypted) and Secure Channel (encrypted) communication modes.
• All acre Smart Controllers delivered to date are eligible for this upgrade.

Recommended Action:

If you are currently using the acre Smart Controller and wish to enable OSDP, please ensure you are on the latest version of acre Access Control, and upgrade your controller firmware following the instructions here.
