An issue has been reported concerning alarm-triggering for the Door Ajar (Door open too long) function, where the Card Reader Buzzer does not trigger when it is supposed to.
The issue only appears when combining older generation E2V-nodes with newer generation E100 Central Controllers, if the E100 is using Firmware version 7.6.4 or newer.
The issue does not appear if Firmware version 7.5.66 or older is used in combination with E2V-nodes.
The issue does not appear when using newer generation E200-nodes in combination with E100 Central Controllers.
Overview of the various combinations and where the issue appears.
| Controller | Controller Firmware | Universal Node | Door Ajar-alarm |
| E100 / E100-S | 7.5.66 | E2V | Functional |
| E100 / E100-S | 7.6.4 and newer | E2V | Non-functional |

There are two known workarounds described in the following Technical Support Notes (in Swedish):
Option 1 - Using a Relay from the E2V-node to trigger Buzzer & Red LED
Option 2 - Using PC Alarm Transmitter to transmit Door Ajar-alarms via PC, email or SMS
