A customer in Germany has reported an issue when using the SPCevo controller series for live alarm verification via FlexC. While the issue appears to occur only under specific conditions, we have initiated an investigation to identify the root cause.
Issue Details - hardware and firmware setup:
Controller: SPCevo series
Audio Expander: SPCV340 (FW 2.03; other versions may also be affected)
Alarm Transmission: FlexC to third-party CMS software (Thalos by Sitasys)
Description:
The problem manifests as poor audio quality during alarm verification, preventing the service provider from meeting contractual obligations with the end customer. Notably, this issue does not occur with the SPC Gen1 controller series, suggesting the root cause lies in how SPCevo manages audio traffic.
