Product Release: Omnis REST API v2.2.4.8

Acre Security is pleased to introduce the first release of the Omnis REST API, a new extension for Omnis.
It gives external systems a modern REST interface for communicating with Omnis.
This long-requested capability is now available.

What's new?

The Omnis REST API is built on the standard Omnis API and adds a REST-based interface for external integrations.
The first release includes the following functionality:

• Door Control: external access to door functions through the API.
• Control Objects: external access to control objects.
• Associated Doors: external access to associated door information.
• Blacklist: external access to blacklist functions.
• Event Queue: external access to the event queue.
• Reservations: external access to reservations.
• Person Registry: external access to the person registry.
• REST API: the REST interface itself, including the new REST connection type introduced with Omnis 7.5.

Requirements and compatibility

• Omnis REST API v2.2.4.8 depends on the standard Omnis API.
• Omnis 7.5 is required for compatibility.
• The module requires an external web server, e.g. Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).
