Product Release: Omnis E100 Firmware 7.7.3

Acre Security is pleased to announce the delivery release of Omnis E100 Firmware version 7.7.3 and LON app v63. The E100 firmware is to be used with LON app v61 or newer.

The software can be downloaded from our Products page, under the Software-tab for both the E100 and E100-S.   

How to Upgrade

The following methods are available for upgrading units in the field.

E100 Firmware

1: Upgrade using SD-card - This method can be used to upgrade the E100/E100-S, but not the LON-board. See below for methods to upgrade the LON-board.

2: Upgrade using E100 Web Interface – This method can be used to upgrade the E100/E100-S, E200, and the LON-board. See below for more details.

LON-board Firmware

The LON app can be upgraded using one of the following methods.

1. Upgrade using USB LON-Module – This method can be used to upgrade the LON-board with an additional piece of 3rd party hardware (not sold by acre Security): U10 USB Network Interface – TP/FT-10 Channel.

2. LON-Board swap between E200 and E100 – This method can be used to upgrade the E100/E100-S’s LON-board without the use of a LON-module. For instructions, please see manual: A-100435-10_Omnis_Discovery_and_Web_Tool-EN-SV. 

What’s new?

The following changes have been implemented.

E100 v7.7.3

• Fix: Incorrect data sent for set alarm area log event. This resolves an issue where arming an alarm group incorrectly showed two log event for two different alarm areas being set. (#11631)
• Fix: Temporary state not correctly released on E2 nodes. This resolves an issue where Door Ajar status was not triggered on doors equipped with E2V-nodes connected to an E100 with firmware 7.6.4 or newer. (#11620)
• Fix: Firmware log in web UI not possible to toggle.
• Fix: No countdown indicator when rebooting via web UI.
• Fix: Factory defaults for Firmware Upgrade via web UI not working.
• Fix: Memory leak when toggling from clock/data or Wiegand.
• Fix: Various log issues for witnessed cards (Escort-function).
• Fix: Current card forgotten when lock strike timer ends resulting in card 0 being reported
• Fix: Door status still reported as open when temporary state is released
• Fix: Alarm transmitter error auto-resets when a USB-serial adapter is connected
• Fix: Lift control not working without local lock strike output

• Fix: Old application ID returned when updated
