Product Release - Acre Access Control - Classic Client v26.6.3 & Universal Client v26.6.16

This release delivers new integration capabilities, licensing and wallet improvements, a modernized data-grid experience, and a broad set of fixes across the Universal Client and Classic Client.

New Features & Improvements

Microsoft Entra / Gallery Synchronization - Backend

  • Automatically disable inactive cards (Gallery package). New Gallery package that, once configured, runs a daily task to deactivate cards that have been inactive for a configurable period.
    • Option to disable deletions during synchronization. A new configuration option lets administrators prevent the Entra package from deleting person and image records. Default behavior is unchanged; when the option is enabled, the Entra package will never delete a person or image record.
      • Photo synchronization options. A new configuration option controls how photos are handled during Entra synchronization. Administrators can choose "None" to never sync incoming images, "Sync picture but do not override existing," or "Sync picture and override existing."
        • Duplicate person records prevented. Entra synchronization now maps incoming people to existing records in AAC by matching email address, enriching the existing record rather than creating a new duplicate record.
          • Assign card numbers from Entra. A new configuration option allows a card number (Encoded Card Number) to be provided from Entra through a configurable extensionAttribute, automatically creating the card assignment during synchronization. Errors when adding a card assignment (for example, when the card is already active elsewhere) are handled safely and logged so synchronization continues.

Licensing - Universal Client & Classic Client

            • acre One Credential (My Pass) now defaults to 25 licenses. When adding an acre One Credential (My Pass) license, the default quantity is now 25 licenses instead of 1.
              • License Manager error fixes (Classic Client). Addressed errors that could occur in the License Manager.
                • Updated "License Was Recently Modified" pop-up. The pop-up has been restyled to match the current color and design scheme.
                  • Corrected feature and badge details. The product code now displays correctly (and is no longer truncated) when adding a feature, and the description now displays when adding a Wallet Employee Badge.

                    acre Wallet - Universal Client

                    • Guest Pass button naming. For instances licensed only for the acre Wallet Guest Pass, the "Send Wallet" button is now labeled "Send Wallet Guest Pass."
                      • Visitor Wallet Credentials. The expiration date can no longer be changed for Visitor Wallet Credentials.

Data Grids & Reporting Experience - Universal Client

                        • New custom filter dialog. Introduced a redesigned filter dialog for working with data tables and reports.
                          • Improved PDF export. Enhanced the visual quality and layout of exported PDFs.
                            • Modernized data tables. Following data tables and lists - global search results, people lists, card assignment, purchase history, holiday and shared-holiday views, people-in-area, and visitor status - have been migrated to the new data-grid framework for a more consistent experience.

                              Custom Forms - Universal Client

                              • Custom Forms displayed as individual tabs. On the Custom Forms tab, custom forms now appear as individual tabs rather than as options in a dropdown, making it faster to move between forms.

Badge Types, Badge Printing & Reports - Universal Client

                                • Badge Type consistency between Universal Client and Classic Client. Resolved inconsistencies in Badge Type preview and printing between the two clients, including issues with Custom Forms and Custom Data synchronization.
                                  • Badge Print Report - custom fields. The Badge Print Report now returns results when custom fields are selected.
                                    • Badge Print Report - Classic Client custom form fields. The Badge Print Report now returns results when filtering by custom form fields created in the Classic Client.
                                      • Badge Print Report - dashboard. Fixed an issue where the Badge Print Report could spin endlessly when placed on the dashboard.

Universal Client - Appearance & Usability

                                        • Light/dark mode. Fixed an issue where switching the dashboard between light and dark modes did not always apply correctly.
                                          • Quick Action buttons. Corrected the color of Quick Action buttons.
                                            • Elevator tab. Fixed an issue where the Elevator tab could remain in a spinning state after selection.
                                              • Dropdown scrolling in Gallery Reports/Widgets. Fixed an issue where scrolling to the end of a dropdown would reset the list back to the start.
                                                • Reader names in the Access Level List. Long reader names are no longer truncated in the Reader column when adding a reader from the Access Level List.
                                                  • Phone number format. Phone numbers using the Classic Client format are no longer shown as invalid in the Universal Client.

Access Control, Schedules & Hardware - Universal Client & Backend

                                                    • Schedule duration limit. Schedules now enforce the maximum of 12 durations supported by Mercury, preventing configurations that exceed the hardware limit.
                                                      • Lockdown via Favorites. Standardized Lockdown-via-Favorites behavior so it is consistent across Universal Client Desktop versions.
                                                        • Masking Input status. Masking Input status now updates in the Universal Client after a state change.
                                                          • NDEB lock default. Addressed the NDEB lock defaulting to Storage mode or None and only being changeable in the Classic Client.
                                                            • Mercury data processing. Introduced EMQX + Conductor to improve Mercury data processing for greater scale and performance.

                                                              Classic Client - Bulk Actions

                                                              • Run bulk actions from the Classic Client. The Mercury Commands bulk-actions capability is now accessible from the Classic Client. A button in the Classic Client opens the Package Launcher web view, where bulk actions can be run.

                                                                Acre Security 2026

Classic Client - Scheduled Tasks & Schedules

                                                                • Show Child Objects for Schedules. Added a "Show Child Objects" button so schedules in shared instances are visible in an Enterprise instance.
                                                                  • Show Child Objects for Scheduled Tasks. Added a "Show Child Objects" button for scheduled tasks in an Enterprise instance.

The link below contains a plain-language explanation of an improvement Acre Security has made to one AcrePlatform (OAP) — specifically, to the way your Mercury access-control panels receive configuration and command updates from the platform.Nothing about this change requires any action from you. Your panels, badges, access levels, and day-to-day operation are unaffected. This document explains what we improved, why, and what benefit itbrings — especially as both OAP and your own hardware estate grow. It is written for a general audience.

In one sentence. Instead of announcing every change across the whole server fleet and having every server re-work it for each panel it hosts, OAP now works each change out once and sends only the affected panels a ready-to-apply update.

                                                                                                https://acre.my.site.com/knowledgearticles/s/article/Platform-Improvement-Keeping-Mercury-Panels-in-Sync
