Keeping Mercury Panels in Sync
The link below contains a plain-language explanation of an improvement Acre Security has made to one AcrePlatform (OAP) — specifically, to the way your Mercury access-control panels receive configuration and command updates from the platform.Nothing about this change requires any action from you. Your panels, badges, access levels, and day-to-day operation are unaffected. This document explains what we improved, why, and what benefit itbrings — especially as both OAP and your own hardware estate grow. It is written for a general audience.
In one sentence. Instead of announcing every change across the whole server fleet and having every server re-work it for each panel it hosts, OAP now works each change out once and sends only the affected panels a ready-to-apply update.
