Product Release - Acre Access Control - Classic Client v26.7.1 & Universal Client v26.7.4

This release focuses on a smoother monitoring and dashboard experience, more reliable hardware and controller management, and a broad set of fixes across the Universal Client and Classic Client.

New Features & Improvements

Global Search - Universal Client

• Refine your search without leaving the results: The Global Search results window now includes its own search box, so you can narrow down what you're looking for without closing the results and returning to the dashboard search.
• Names containing "z" now return results: Fixed an issue in the Classic Client where searching for a person whose name contained the letter "z" returned no matches.

Access Levels - Universal Client

• Paired readers stay together: When adding doors to an access level, a door's primary and secondary readers now appear next to each other in the list, instead of being separated by strict alphabetical sorting - making it much easier to pick the right pair.

Dashboard Widgets - Universal Client

• Live Event widget shows events as they happen: Incoming events now appear on the Live Event widget automatically, without needing to refresh.
• Live Event widget search works again: Typing a search term now correctly filters the Live Event list instead of duplicating matching events at the top.
• Live Event priority filter honored: The priority filter now shows only events at or above the selected priority level.
• People List refresh button works: Clicking Refresh on the People List widget (on the dashboard or a Quick Action button) now reloads the list, including people who were just added.
• Visual Verification keeps working after a session times out: The Visual Verification widget now continues to display card activity for the configured doors after you log back in, without needing to remove and re-add the widget.
• Consistent controller status across widgets: The Controller Status widget and the Hardware List now report the same online/offline status for the same controller.
• Building List widget opens reliably: Fixed an issue that prevented the Building List widget from opening.

Access Control Hardware - Universal Client

• Add and edit downstreams on Mercury controllers: Downstreams added to a Mercury controller are now saved correctly, remain listed after a refresh, and their configuration can be opened and edited.
• Local controller provisioning: Resolved an error that could occur when provisioning a local controller.
• OSDP encryption keys: Encryption keys entered for OSDP reader communication are now handled in the required uppercase (A–F) format, preventing readers from going offline due to lowercase characters.
• View All Hardware refresh (Classic Client): Fixed an error that could appear when clicking Refresh on the View All Hardware tab in certain shared instances.

Visitor Management - Universal Client

• Building table loads correctly: The Visitor Management Building table now loads as expected.
• Scroll the full building list: When adding a new building, you can now scroll through the entire dropdown of available buildings without the list breaking.
• Visitor Management license availability: Corrected an issue where the Visitor Management license was not available in some environments.

Licensing & acre One Credentials - Universal Client

• License count updates when a credential is cleared: Clearing the acre One mobile app certificate now correctly returns the credential to the available license pool.
• Cancel acre One Badge option state: The "Cancel acre One Badge" option is now correctly unavailable when no acre One Badge has been sent to the user.

Enterprise & Shared Instances - Universal Client

• Shared instances load for user-group-only access: A user who exists in the parent enterprise instance but has a user group only within a shared instance can now fully load that instance's dashboard, matching Classic Client behavior.
• Delete an instance with your account password: Deleting an instance from the Universal Client now accepts your normal account password, so the deletion completes instead of returning an "Incorrect password" error.

Reporting - Universal Client

• Access Request Report returns results: Fixed an issue where the Access Request Report from the Gallery could return an error instead of results.

Integrations - ACT365 (Universal Client)

• Assign Cardholder Groups on ACT365 instances: The site selection dropdown now appears when assigning a Cardholder Group to a cardholder on an ACT365 instance.

Under the Hood - Universal Client

• Platform foundation update: We updated core application components to the latest supported versions, improving overall stability and reliability across the client.
